Heather Reynolds
RN, BSN Co-owner
Heather Reynolds is a dedicated nurse, loving mother of three boys, and a passionate advocate for compassionate care. After graduating from the University of South Carolina's nursing school in 2006, Heather spent nine years in critical care, with a focus on pediatric critical care. Since 2015, she has been working as a school nurse, bringing her extensive bedside experience to support the health and well-being of students. Her career has been marked by a commitment to delivering exceptional care and addressing complex medical needs with empathy and expertise. In 2022 she began night nursing. Heather loves being able to support mothers, fathers, and families as life changes and the parenthood journey evolves.
Beyond her professional achievements, Heather is a devoted wife and an avid lover of the outdoors. Her passion for teaching and helping others extends from her work as a nurse to her role as a mother, where she brings the same dedication and warmth to her family life. With a deep commitment to supporting new families and a genuine love for nurturing both patients and loved ones, Heather continues to make a meaningful impact through her work and personal life.
Katie Hudson
RN, BSN Co-owner
Katie is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina. After graduating in 2005 with her BSN, Katie has honed her expertise primarily in pediatrics, where she has made a significant impact on the lives of young patients and their families. Since 2015, she has shifted her focus towards nursing education, driven by a deep passion for sharing her extensive knowledge and experience.
Her commitment to nurturing new mothers and families is evident in her educational efforts, as she strives to empower them with the skills and confidence needed for successful caregiving.
Beyond her professional achievements, Katie is a devoted mother of two and a loving wife, cherishing every moment spent with her family. She values the time spent together, whether it’s exploring new activities or simply enjoying each other’s company. Her balanced approach to work and family life reflects her belief in the importance of supporting and guiding others, both in her career and at home.
Laine Smith
RN, BSN
Laine Smith is a dedicated nurse, wife, and mother. Laine is a graduate of Lander University with 18 years of experience in pediatrics, including invaluable time spent in the NICU and, most recently, as a school nurse. Laine has a particular passion for caring for infants and supporting new families as a night nurse, providing them with the guidance and reassurance they need during those crucial early days.
Outside of her nursing role, Laine is actively involved in her community, volunteering at her local church. She treasures quality time with her family and friends, often traveling to create lasting memories together.
Sara Redmond
RN, BSN
Sara is a dedicated nursing professional and a proud graduate of Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. As a pediatric registered nurse at Greenville Memorial, Sara has been gaining skills and knowledge for the past year and a half. While she primarily works on the medical-surgical floors, she also floats to the Pediatric Oncology/Hematology floor, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric ICU, gaining valuable experience along the way.
Sara lives on a beef cattle farm in Travelers Rest, where she has spent her entire life, and she is excited to bring that down-to-earth spirit into her nursing practice.
Sara can’t wait to work with your precious family and provide the best care for your little ones!
Katie Aughtry
RN, BSN
Katie Aughtry is a pediatric nurse who lives in Greer with her husband and their two kids who keep life busy. Katie graduated from Clemson University and has been working in pediatrics for 16 years. Over those 16 years she has cared for patients across many different areas and specialties of the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital as well as providing a safe environment for dental sedation within pediatric dentistry with Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates.
Outside of nursing, you can likely find Katie at the ball field watching her kids play baseball/softball. She loves listening to audiobooks and strolling the aisles of Target with an iced coffee in hand!

Kaylee Kaufman
RN, BSN
Kaylee Kaufman, a Greenville, SC native, is a dedicated and compassionate nurse with a passion for women and infant health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Charleston Southern University. While studying to become a nurse Kaylee gained hands-on experience working with infants at a local preschool.
With two years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, Kaylee has developed a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of new moms and their families. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Georgetown University to become a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, further enhancing her ability to support women throughout their life stages.
When she’s not caring for patients, Kaylee enjoys spending time with her family, including her dog. She also finds joy in gardening, walking, reading, and embroidery, always striving to balance work and relaxation in her personal life.
Kaylee looks forward to providing exceptional care and support during her night nursing shifts, bringing both expertise and a caring heart to every patient she serves.
Sarah Ayers
RN, BSN
Sarah grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, where her love for caring for children began at an early age. Throughout high school, she spent her summers as a nanny for a wonderful family and gained experience caring for children of all ages.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University before returning to Charleston to begin her nursing career on an adult cardiac unit at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. Over the years, Sarah has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), where she cared for patients of all ages recovering from surgery. She currently works in Healthcare Quality, analyzing CMS reimbursement programs and supporting initiatives that improve patient care and quality outcomes.
As both a registered nurse and a mother of two, Sarah understands the importance of providing compassionate, dependable care while helping families feel confident and supported. She and her husband have a 9-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter. In 2024, their family relocated to Simpsonville, and they have truly fallen in love with the Upstate. Sarah is excited to serve local families and provide the exceptional care and peace of mind they deserve.

Erica Walajtys, RN
Erica is a dedicated pediatric and neonatal critical care nurse with nearly 30 years of bedside nursing experience caring for infants, children, and their families. A graduate of Kennesaw University Nursing School in 1997, she has built her career in some of the region’s leading pediatric healthcare settings, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Prisma Health in Greenville.
Throughout her career, Erica has worked primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), while also gaining extensive experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient units. Her expertise spans the care of newborns, infants, and children with complex medical needs, providing skilled, compassionate support during both challenging and hopeful moments in their healthcare journey.
As a mother of a daughter and a son, both graduates of the University of South Carolina, Erica understands the importance of family-centered care and the trust parents place in those caring for their children. Her commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality care has remained the cornerstone of her professional practice throughout her career.
Erica believes that caring for children, newborns, and their families is one of the most rewarding aspects of nursing. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where families feel supported, informed, and confident in their child’s care. Her decades of experience, clinical expertise, and genuine compassion make her a trusted advocate for the infants and families she serves.
When she is not caring for patients, Erica enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends. She is also an avid gardener and shares her home with three rescued Standard Poodles, who keep life active, joyful, and full of adventure.
Eve Ashley, RN, BSN
Eve is a graduate of Liberty University. Upon graduation Eve began working in the Emergency Department. The ED has helped her develop a strong foundation in providing compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. While Eve enjoys the challenges and rewards of emergency nursing, she hope to pursue a career in pediatrics in the future.
Eve's passion for caring for children began long before becoming a nurse. Prior to nursing, she worked as a nanny, caring for children from newborns through 18 years of age. Those experiences strengthened her love for working with children and continue to inspire her professional goals.
Outside of work, Eve enjoys spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog and has a strong interest in natural and holistic health. She also loves expressing her creativity through all kinds of arts and crafts, which help her relax and recharge.
Kalie Easton, RN, BSN
Kalie has lived in Greenville for most of her life and feels blessed to be raising her own family in the community she loves. She has been a registered nurse since 2014 and has spent the majority of her nursing career caring for children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where she continues to work today. She also has the opportunity to assist in the NICU several times a year.
Outside of nursing, Kalie and her husband enjoy raising their three children—a 10-year-old son, an 8-year-old son, and a 5-year-old daughter. During the week, she homeschools her children, and on weekends, she works in the PICU. She treasures watching her children learn and grow each day and feels honored to care for children and support their families during some of their most challenging moments.
Kalie brings her years of pediatric critical care experience, compassion, and love for children to her work with Rest Assured Infant Care. She especially values the opportunity to support families and provide parents with peace of mind as they care for their little ones.
When she isn't working or homeschooling, Kalie enjoys reading, watercolor painting, and making memories with her family. She is always looking forward to their next trip to the beach—no matter the season!
Diane Beilder, RN
Diane Beidler, RN has 35 years of clinical nursing expertise across Mother/Infant, Well Baby, and Special Care nurseries. For much of her career, she chose the night shift to maintain maximum flexibility for her family. Today, she channels her wealth of clinical knowledge into the Upstate South Carolina community, teaching essential classes in Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Newborn Care, and Infant/Child CPR. Driven by her faith and active church involvement, she holds immense compassion for parents during the delicate adjustment period when a newborn first comes home, dedicating her career to smoothing that transition.
On a personal note, Diane has been happily married to her husband, Scott, for more than 40 years. They are proud parents of four and grandparents of five. She is highly passionate about nutrition and humanely sourced food, often spending time baking bread, making wood-fired pizza, and creating sourdough products. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she fully immerses herself in nature through camping, hiking, birding, landscaping, and identifying native plants. She enjoys listening to audiobooks during her downtime, and is often found exploring local trails and campsites alongside Scott and their two loyal dogs, Banjo and Willett.
Mary Grace Smith, RN BSN
Mary Grace Smith, RN BSN, is a caring and committed healthcare professional. Before becoming a nurse Mary Grace worked as an athletic trainer. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina (USC) and then later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Mary Grace has always loved children and taking care of them. Before becoming a nurse she was active with children in her church, family, and babysitting. She currently works as a pediatric med-surg nurse and floats to critical areas such as hematology/oncology, NICU, and PICU at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Growing up in Seneca, Mary Grace has a deep love for the Upstate, but her passion for travel has taken her all over the world. Paris holds a special place in her heart as her favorite destination. Her travels have also led her to Romania, where she participated in mission trips with her church to work with children at a summer camp and Bible school.
Outside of nursing, Mary Grace enjoys cooking, exploring new recipes, and dining at local restaurants. She also loves spending time outdoors, taking walks with her dog, Lyla, while enjoying podcasts, audiobooks, or music. Mary Grace looks forward to supporting families as they transition to life with a newborn at home.
Emily Riggs, RN BSN
Emily is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but moved to South Carolina for college in 2019. She now lives in Simpsonville with her husband, baby boy, and their dog. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, trying local coffee shops, reading, and exercising! Emily graduated from Anderson University in 2023 with her BSN. She is a pediatric nurse at Shriners Children’s in Greenville, and absolutely LOVES her job caring for orthopedic pediatric patients and supporting their families! She is also a clinical instructor for Anderson University nursing students. Even before she began her career as a pediatric nurse, Emily has always gravitated towards caring for children. During high school, she babysat and worked at a daycare. She also spent her summers in college as a full time nanny. She has a passion for building trusting relationships with families, and providing comfort in overwhelming times. Emily is thrilled for the opportunity to support families as they navigate early parenthood!
